Welcome to 3rd edition of the Papillon news.

The Papillon Team would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas.

A big thank you to the 18 of you out there that came to our Pre Xmas party night on the 22nd November and made it the great night it was, Pictures from the night can be found in our galleries section of the website.

Did you miss our last party night...? Well, our next night is coming on the 24th January 2009 at our London HQ. Doors open at 7:30pm till late so you can always come and join us then. It will be out 1st party of 2009 so let’s make it one to remember.

The website as some of you will of noticed has changed a little bit over the last few weeks and will change more in the next few months as well please bare with us this is to bring the site inline with the new browser Requirements ( IE8 etc ).

We still have some vacancies, for anyone who is a budding DJ, Photographer or writers and fancy showing their talent you’ll find full details of these vacancies in the newsletter.

COMING NEXT MONTH

Starting next month we at Papillon are going to start interviewing some well known people with in the Transgender Community.

Is there some one you want us to interview?

Do you fancy interviewing someone for us, if so, get in touch with us in the usual ways.

PAPILLON PHOTO COMPETITION

I'm sure that there are some girls or boys who come to Papillon that are good with cameras (taking pictures) other than the normal ones. I know every time I go anywhere; the camera goes with me because I never know when the opportunity to take a really good picture will present itself.

So why not have a competition to see who can come up with the best picture. It can be of any subject you like and Christina has offered some Papillon goodies as prizes for 1st 2nd and 3rd so let’s see what we can come up with. Deadline for entries to be in is the 14th January 2009.

Click here to post your entries in our forum

Or Email them to us HERE

ALTERNATIVE MAKEOVER COMPANY

As a newly formed Makeover Service we are so grateful to Christina for offering to feature us in the newsletter.  We totally appreciate the value of word of mouth and recommendation within the Transgendered community and hope that news of our service will spread.

At AMC we believe we are not here to change you into a pre-determined version of femininity.  Instead we like to work with you to enhance your natural features creating a truly feminine expression of yourself.

We can all look like someone else, but to appear as truly female, if you like a sister to your male persona, this is the ultimate achievement.
Working with what nature gave you; we can enhance & transform your natural features to create an individual expression of femininity, not a mask applied to many.

We all have different images and styles; it’s what makes us all individuals.  So let us help you express yourself by embracing your individuality and developing your feminine confidence.

Claire has been a regular attendee of transgendered events since meeting and subsequently marrying Maria.  If you have already been out and about you are almost certain to have bumped into Claire at some stage.

After many years of applying Maria’s makeup, Claire decided to become trained in the

specific art of male to female transformations.

With a dedicated makeover room at their home in Weybridge, Surrey, Claire is now able to offer makeovers, image consultations and escorted evenings to both transgendered venues and mainstream events.

Why not have a look at our Website or give Claire a call for a chat?

PAPILLON FORUMS

As some of you know, Papillon has a forum board to post questions, play games and keep up with all what’s going on in the big wide world, This does require a separate registration to the chat room & you will notice this month ( DEC ) its gone all Christmas like.

PAPILLON CHATROOM

Those of you that are regulars of our chat room know we still have our little bug, please bear with us whilst continue to try and work on the problem with the people who built our chat room software & iron out the bugs and hopefully bring you a few great new features.

It has been good to see some old friends here and to make new ones and see them all having fun. I would also like to thank the Moderators for their efforts in the last few months. You've done a fabulous job, well done girls!

KATIE GLOVERS GIRL GUIDE

"Dib, dib, dib - Trannyweb founder, Katie Glover's first book on crossdressing and transgender issues works on three levels.

Firstly she tries to unravel the whole transgender experience from a psychological viewpoint and comes up with some interesting ideas on why TG people just have to dress.

Secondly she brings you the benefit of her own experience as a transgendered person, to help you pass in public every time (although Katie is the first to admit that she's not a miracle worker).

And finally, to set her book apart from the myriad of other tranny self help books out there, she tells you about her own past and her experiences as a tranny girl, growing up in a non-tranny world, from schooldays and before to her first visit to a dressing service and then on to the creation of the jewel in her crown - Trannyweb.

If you are serious about being a transvtite, crossdresser or transsexual, you need this book.  With over 330 pages and packed with full color photos, Katie Glover's Girl Guide must not be missed.  Take a look at some sample pages and then buy your own copy.  You won't regret it."

Want to no more then visit http://trannyweb.com/girlguide/
